Tuban is located just south of Kuta, sometimes referred to as South Kuta beach. The hotels are set in quiet areas overlooking the beach though closer enough to Kuta for access to the restaurants, shopping and nightlife.
There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in Tuban just with less crowds as you get in Kuta. Getting to TubanTuban is only 10 minutes from Ngurah Rai airport. Taxi prices are fixed at 35,000Rp. If you are in Kuta, then Tuban is just a 15 minute walk. The Santo Fransiskus Xaverius Catholic Church (Gereja Katolik) is located on Jalan Kartika Plaza right in the center of Tuban on the main road.
Restaurants in TubanBellagio Restaurant is located with the J Boutique Hotel on Jalan Kartika Plaza. The Grill Corner is just down the road from Ballagio Restaurant. With great decor with large chairs for sitting back and relaxing. Kunyit Bali Restaurant serves traditional Balinese Cuisine. Located on Jalan Kartika Plaza. It is an open air restaurant set in a traditional Balinese garden.
