Singkep Island or Pulau Singkep is the southern most island within the Riau Islands. Less developed and less visited than Batam and Bintan. The main towns on Singkep are Dabo and Sungaibuluh on the north coast of Singkep. 30 minutes (20km) south of Dabo is the beautiful Batu Berduan Beach with clean white sand. On the beach is the attraction of Batu Berduan (rock tree) which is a rock formation on the beach with a tree growing out of it. There are Hot Springs (Air Panas) for therapeutic bathing in the hills of Singkep, around 40 minutes from Dabo.
