Losmen Arthawan is the cheapest accommodation
in the centre of Kuta. Located on Poppies Lane II surrounded by shops,
restaurants, bars and close to all the night life. The Losmen is just
across the road from Kori Restaurant. The rooms are basic with no TV though have fans and bathrooms inside. The owner is friendly guy who is happy to help with directions or information about Bali. The rooms may not have TV though there are plenty of bars very close to sit back and watch some sports or DVDs that the bars play at night time.

Single Room 50,000 or 55,000Rp Double Room 55,000 or 90,000Rp
The difference is price is the size of the rooms. They have small rooms and slightly larger rooms at a higher price.

Hotel Reviews Review submitted 30th October 2011 by Rose Ahmad Had been at Arthawan in 2005 right after Bali bombing. At that time, the place had just been renovated so nothing much to complain. At 40,000 RP per nite for double and with breakfast plus tropical fruits -it was quite a bargain. Hope the management of Arthawan will upgrade it back. Review submitted 8th October 2011 by Yuhana i stay there for on week for honeymoon at 11-09-2011 until 24-09-2011, we pay Rp.90.000,-/ night (include breakfast, bread with fried egg and banana pancake, drink : tea or coffee). The was was quite big with fan inside, toilet also inside the room, but the dirty things is they don't change the bed sheet. so we sleep with our sarong to cover the bed. Toiletnya jg rusak jadinya nyiram pake ember (2 words - dirty pillow...... and there were lots of mosquitos also. The toilets were broken and replaced with a bucket!!!) Review submitted 21st October 2010 by Jordain Crawling with bed bugs, our toilet broke (which I was forced to fix myself) loud fans, had not been cleaned at all when we moved in... but its 40k per room for one guest and 50k for two a night. Next cheapest place was around 100k per night, which had an equally loud fan and a broken toilet which once again I was forced to fix myself. no bed bugs mind, but you can buy spray from any k mart for about 30k which kills them off for a few days at a time, and each can lasted me around a month. The workers are all grumpy, but at those prices you cant complain. it seems to be the place where the most interesting travellers end up, and the least loud mouthed, Kuta tourists end up.
