Hotel Barong in Kuta Bali is located on Poppies Lane II around a 10 minute walk down to Kuta Beach and 15 minutes from Denpasar Airport. Hotel Barong is conveniently located to to shops, restaurants, internet cafes and bars. The hotel has 2 swimming pools with swim up bars and restaurant. The Hotel has a wireless internet hotspot which is accessible in the rooms with good connection speed. Price for the internet access is 35,000RP for one hour or 75,000Rp for 5 hours which is valid for 7 days. Ask at reception for the userid and password. Other services include massage either by the pool or in your hotel room. There is also laundry service which is cheap. The Barong Hotel has it's own power generator so if the power in Kuta goes out (which happens occasionally) the power and air-conditioning stays on in the hotel.
There are TVs in all rooms with mainly Indonesian TV shows, some international movies are shown. The hotel does show latest release DVDs throughout the day and evening on Channel 6. Thursday night they have entertainment around the main pool at the back of the hotel. It is right in the centre of Kuta not far from the beach and 5 minutes walk up to all the nightclubs. Great Internet connection which works in the room. Have you stayed at Hotel Barong?
